The gang at the clocker’s stand in the summer. The trainers and owners gather to watch their horses work. A great place to spend some time . . . especially in the summer. The tour bus stops and if the clocker isn’t too busy, they get a peak at racing from the backstretch.

Clocker’s Stand

At the Thoroughbred Center in Lexington KY where Ercel is the racing official commission clocker. Ercel also does his Saturday morning show from the clockers stand from 10 until noon on Saturdays. Ercel was a trainer at the training center and with its dirt track and excellent track crew considers it to be the premiere training race track in KY for thoroughbreds.
